Shop lifting Morden Town Centre

We have been proactively patrolling our town centre and are pleased to announce a 41% reduction in the spate of thefts.

We have been working with the stores in town to help curb shoplifting, and the resulting secondary fall off crimes like ASB and selling of illegal goods.

The stores all report lower thefts when we are in town centre, but obviously we cannot be there permanently as we have the rest of the ward to care for.

I hope this statistic shows the great work our teams have achieved in lowering the thefts  in Morden Town centre.
